We made it through another snowy and slippery day in Calgary, Alberta!

I arrived at the Kehler’s home to find all the girls busy in the kitchen preparing a traditional Kenyan lunch of ugali, sukuma wiki, and tomatoe stew – yum!!  We were all too busy enjoying it that I didn’t take any pictures…!

After our tummies were full we headed over to Clearwater Academy, a private Catholic school in Calgary.  First, the team gathered in the library with a small group of older students for a couple songs, but most importantly, some interaction time with each other.

After the small gathering, the team went to the gym for a full performance – much to the delight of students and parents!  As we left to get on the bus we were thrust into a white wilderness.

Clearwater it was back to the Kehler’s for a quick bite then off to an event with a great organization called FACES.  FACES currently works with a network of four local scools in Calgary that raise funds for other schools, classrooms, and students across the world.  We couldn’t think of a better organization to partner with!  Thank you to the whole FACES team, as well as Judy Gabriel from CityTV for being our emcee for the evening.

A special part of the evening was when students from the four partner schools got a chance to ask questions of the MCF choir members.  They had some great questions and we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!

After the evening show it was back to Maureen’s for some much deserved rest, and of course, some games!
